Things may be taken out of context and a person’s perception may become their reality if repeated often enough.
Perception is how something is regarding, understood, interpreted, how people see, hear or become aware of things through their senses.
It is common to find people cannot agree on what are facts.
Henry Ford summed up perception nicely when he said:

One tip to discern what is true or not is by verifying the information.

Ask the Body Corporate Manager to email you the supporting documentation (attachments to voting outside of committee meeting, quotes, etc)
Get educated by subscribing to credible organisations providing information regarding strata matters. Most subscriptions are free.
